This is the mentality of the people now running this country
From Michelle Malkin (I know, I hit her site a lot):
She said this on CNN over the weekend:
KING: A lot of Democrats in Congress want to you investigate [Joe Arpaio]. They think he is over the line. He says he is just enforcing the law and the problem is the federal government.
NAPOLITANO: Well, you know, Sheriff Joe, he is being very political in that statement, because he knows that there aren’t enough law enforcement officers, courtrooms or jail cells in the world to do what he is saying.

Napolitano has said a few dumb things about immigration and relations with Mexico, but this takes the cake. She was a partner in a Phoenix law firm, then a FEDERAL prosecutor in Arizona, then Attorney General for the State of Arizona. For crying out loud, she has to know that illegally crossing the border is a criminal offense.
