Global Warming Activist, Journalist, Perish in Antarctica

(Punta Arenas, Chile) Famed global warming activist James Schneider and a journalist friend were both found frozen to death on Saturday, about 90 miles from South Pole Station, by the pilot of a ski plane practicing emergency evacuation procedures.

"I couldn’t believe what I was seeing", recounted the pilot, Jimmy Dolittle. "There were two snowmobiles with cargo sleds, a tent, and a bright orange rope that had been laid out on the ice, forming the words, ‘HELP-COLD’".

If the name of the pilot didn’t tip you off, it is only satire.  Too bad.  Take a look at the most recent poll from the same website.

Guys’ Day Out

My kids are on Spring Break this week, and tomorrow the weather is supposed to clear up nicely.

My oldest son and I are planning to fly the plane to Mecca Cabela’s in Dundee, Michigan for a guys’ day out.

Last year I got a Cabela’s Visa card and starting putting all my work & travel expenses on it.  I now have over $500 in credit at Cabela’s to spend on something sharp & pointy, or loud & bangy, or fishing-type stuff – Suggestions?.

Man, it’s like being a kid the night before going to Disney World…
