Did you happen to catch this picture of the flags outside the White House the other day when Barry hosted the Indian Prime Minister (and a bunch of bootlicks news reporters and hollywood airheads) for dinner?  You know, the state dinner he had served in a freaking TENT???

The Flag Code, which formalizes and unifies the traditional ways in which we give respect to the flag, also contains specific instructions on how the flag is not to be used. The very first one is:

• The flag should never be dipped to any person or thing.

It’s OK…It’s not a dip…It’s more like a bow.

Help Wanted, No Private Sector Experience Required

A friend sends along the following chart. It examines the prior private sector experience of the cabinet officials since 1900 that one might expect a president to turn to in seeking advice about helping the economy. It includes Secretaries of State; Commerce; Treasury; Agriculture; Interior; Labor; Transportation; Energy; and Housing & Urban Development and excludes Postmaster General; Navy; War; Health, Education & Welfare; Veterans Affairs; and Homeland Security — 432 cabinet members in all.

When one considers that public sector employment has ranged since the 1950s at between 15% and 19% of the population, the makeup of the current cabinet — over 90% of its prior experience was in the public sector — is remarkable.

But that presupposes that Barry Soetoro embraces private sector capitalism and the free-thinking entrepreneurship it engenders, and we all know that he doesn’t.  In fact he embraces the exact opposite.  He thinks there is no problem, issue, demand or market that cannot be met or solved with a government monopoly program.  Remember this quote from the campaign trail?

“My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.  I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change it.” – Barack Obama

He came right out and told you what he wanted.  Now he’s set about to bring it to fruition.  Enjoy.
